The story behind Titiritero Oscuro goes even deeper. Its original inspiration came from the classic Disney movie Pinocchio, particularly the dark and charismatic figure of the puppet master. This character sparked the idea for a song about unseen control, manipulation, and the dance between freedom and destiny.

Although originally intended to be danced as a Cuban Salsa, its rhythm resembles the new style of Puerto Rico.

El Titiritero's name in Italian is 'Mangiafuoco' and he is the protagonist of the song, dark but charismatic.
